Vines of the Basque mountains

The smallest vineyard in France, clinging to the sides of the first Pyrenean slopes, this mountain vineyard has a unique geography in long green ribbons that emphasize its relief.

Vines here demand passion and commitment from the sixty or so winemakers who tend them. It is with these same values that they welcome visitors to discover the authenticity of their wines, and the distinctive character of the Basque landscapes and culture.

The Irouléguy vineyard received the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label in 2020.
